A Client Centered Approach

We collaborate with your team…

It is important to build an experienced team around you when you have a neurological condition or disability. We are happy to work with your team members such as Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists and Support Workers to provide a holistic management approach.

We include family…

Family members are often who you will spend most of your time with. We think it is really important that they are involved in your rehabilitation journey if this is one of your wishes. We provide ongoing education to family and carers throughout the rehabilitation journey on strategies that can make your daily life a little bit easier.

We are always learning…

Our physiotherapists love to keep up to date on research on rehabilitation of neurological conditions. This way we can ensure you are receiving the most effective treatment strategies for your condition.

A Holistic Therapy Approach

We listen and work with you…

In our initial assessment we will discuss all areas of your life so we can get a better idea of your abilities and where you might need help. We encourage you to come up with 2-3 goals that are important to you as this will guide your individualised treatment plan.

Our aim is to get you as active as able so you can be as independent as possible in daily life. It’s not just what you do in your therapy session that counts but all the other opportunities you have to be active throughout the day and the week. We will usually provide an exercise programme that you can complete on your own or with support of family/carers to help improve your physical abilities.
